Downtown Oakville Tree Lighting Ceremony

We love trees and we love Christmas! This is the time of year where many are doing their own “tree removal” by heading out to select a Christmas tree to be decorated and displayed in the home. Having said that, Downtown Oakville will be hosting it’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Oakville’s Town Square. It’s happening on Friday, November 18th, 2016 from 6:00-9:00pm. It’s a fantastic way to get the Christmas Season started, and a tradition that families have been enjoying for some time. If you haven’t attended in the past, put it on your calendar and start a new tradition this year!

The Downtown Oakville Business Improvement Area – or BIA – hosts the event each year. They have provided plenty of entertainment, and there will be caroling, treats, a special appearance from Santa Clause himself, capped off with the lighting of the tree.
